Fun with monotyping







I spent an enjoyable evening making monotype prints at The Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts today. For those who wonder what monotyping is all about, it is the most basic form of printmaking whereby a drawing is made on a smooth, non-absorbent surface. The image is then transfered onto a sheet of paper by pressing the two together, usually using a printing press.
